THE ESSENTIAL FIRST STEP FOR TRULY CLEAN WINDOWS
Although the glass may appear smooth, you need a scraper to remove paint spots, overspray, stickers, tape, bird droppings and other stubborn grime.
Using a Scraper:-
• Always check that the glass is suitable for scraper use - follow the manufacturer's care instructions
•Before commencing work, check the glass for any damage and report it if necessary
•Peform a test on a hidden area
•Never scrape dry glass - use a dilution of Super Slip or Glide to wet the glass.
• Start by placing the scraper in any corner of the window and using long overlapping strokes, scrape the entire glass area. Apply even pressure and hold the blade flat against the glass. Only scrape in a forward direction. You will feel the dirt and grime being lifted from the glass.
• Remove the scraper from the glass between strokes in order to avoid a build-up of debris behind the blade.
• Clean the blade after use and an occasional spray with WD40 (or similar) will keep your scraper in peak condition.
• Never use a rusty or damaged blade!
CAUTION:-
Scraper blades are razor sharp - always handle with great care. Take great care when changing blades.
